About Me

"So, what do you do?" I ask people that question a lot.
I also like to ask people, "Can you say and spell your name for the record please?"
And in a town like Berkeley, California, I never know who I am going to meet.
Whether it's on the bus, in the grocery store, or at great concert, there's always an opportunity to get someone's story.

I found my way to Berkeley by way of a career in print media on the south coast of California,
a journalism degree from Cal Poly–San Luis Obispo, and a genuine interest in the humanity of the average person.
I spend my time exploring local musical, theater, and community events and writing about my adventures.

I love to travel, and end up spending half the trip taking pictures.
I also read every newspaper and magazine I can find, in print or online. My latest project is learning how to play the guitar.
